FUUUUUUUUUDDDDD

 Glass Noodles

Myanmar style Chendol

Hi guys, I am back with a new blogpost!
As you can see, this post will be on food.

So recently, a friend of mine brought me to peninsula shopping centre for a completely new and different dining experience. Basically, we had Myanmar food in a restaurant/cafe located at the basement of the mall, beside the foodcourt. If I'm not wrong, the name of the restaurant should be INLE.

It was a really pleasant experience as the waiters there were very friendly, polite and welcoming which made me feel really comfortable yay. Oh and they were very very very helpful as well. The entire menu was filled with burmese characters which I did not understand at all with "subtitle-ish" stuff below the names of the food. I had a really tough time pronouncing the words which made my friends laugh their lungs out literally panting for breath afterwards.

THE FOOD, was good (in my opinion & it also depends on what you order) I wanted to try something new therefore I had the glass noodles reccomended by my friend. "Mmmmm, tasty"
It was certainly a twist from local cuisine (fishball noodles, meepok etc). Everything in that bowl was delicious. And for dessert I had Myanmar chendol. Whats interesting about this chendol is that they have bread and coconut jelly (agar agar) placed on top of it. Surprisingly this combination turned out sooooo good.

To sum it up, it was a really unique experience. The food was similar to Thai food probably because Myanmar and Thailand are right beside one another. Let me know if you have any other interesting places to dine, leave a comment in the comments section, like this post and give it a thumbs up, dont forget to subscribe to my.... ok nevermind...
