Slums?

Greetings, over the weekends I headed over to Batam for a mini getaway with my family.
And..... THE ABOVE CAUGHT MY ATTENTION( just like how I caught yours ha...ha?)
Just what am I looking at?
The pictures show a drain clogged up by various articles of disposal garbage and waste.
Honestly there was a distinct smell emerging from it which made me feel like throwing up.
A part of me was hesitant about even getting near this "thing", however the more adventurous part of me told me to go ahead and take up THE CHALLENGE. And so I did, I even set my feet on the plank-bridge ( thats what I call it) and I did not regret a single thing. Okay maybe I did but #livingthemoment
